In-Kind
Gifts
The youth we serve are without
the basic physical provisions that most of us have easily at our
disposal. A special way you can help New Horizons Ministries and
the youth we serve is by donating clothing items, blankets, or personal
hygiene items.
We always need basic items,
such as coats, jeans, sweatshirts, T-shirts, blankets, hats, mittens
and gloves, new socks and new underwear, toothbrushes, toothpaste,
deodorant, razors, shaving cream, and feminine hygiene products.
Additionally, sometimes
we have special needs for the drop-in center or for youth as they
establish housing. A list of current special needs is below, or
you can contact New Horizons Ministries at 1-866-NHM-KIDS,
in Seattle at 206-374-0866, or by email at volunteer@nhmin.org.
To make an in-kind donation,
bring the items to our drop-in center any weekday between 1:00
and 4:00 p.m., or call and arrange to stop by at a different
time. We will take your name and address and mail you an in-kind
receipt (it's up to you to record the value of the donated items).
Please donate clothing that
washed and cleaned and that is appropriate for youth.
