Current topic: What do you want staff to know about youth homelessness?

Previous Topic: How do you feel when one judges you about your appearance?

Sure others may judge me but no one judges me more than me. I guess it hurts no matter who the judger is. It especially hurts if its a parent who "claims" to "love" you. I guess the ultimate judge is God.

In my opinion if somebody judges me then I can judge them back.

As a teenager I'm told by my parents that looks don't matter but honestly it does matter even to my parents. For instance, I want to wear one thing to Christmas dinner at my moms boyfriends moms houses yet my mom wants me to wear something different. To me that is a type of judging. No matter how old you are it matters what you wear. A lot of people say that they don't care what others think of them or their looks, they are lying cuz it does hurt and it hurts a lot.

It hurts especially if its your mom telling you how fat you are even though the doctor tells you are normal weight.

I hate it cuz other judge me as "damaged goods" cuz I have scarrs on my arms as cutting. I just dont want to be judged cuz of something I do cuz its just like judging someone who does drugs.

It depends on if I appear to look good or not.

I feel the sting of ignorance in their sheltered and close-minded life. It forces them to see things for what they think they are and not what they trully are. I am a book with many covers which change.

How can we say anything about the way we feel about others judging us, when we judge others by the way they look with their appearance. [Matthew 7:1-5]

Judge all you want, just keep the verdict to yourself.
